Motor Vehicle Collision at MD 194 & Stauffer Road
At 8:29 p.m. on August 16, 2017 Frederick County Emergency Communications Center dispatched Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies to Maryland Route 194 and Stauffer Road for a vehicle collision with multiple patients.
Chief 24 arrived on the scene to find one car off the road and one car still in the roadway. Chief 24 established command and soon requested three more Basic Life Support ambulances.
Engine 111 arrived on the scene. The crew provided lighting and assisted with patient care.
Ambulances 249 and 247 arrived on the scene, and crews started patient care.
Engine 23 was dispatched to assist for manpower.
As the other ambulance arrived on the scene, they were directed to awaiting patients.
All patients were transported to the hospital.
